Easter Holiday Orders

Passover Specials

Dessert Works uses old world recipes to create flourless items for the Passover season. Although not traditional Passover desserts, they are perfect for your celebration, as they contain no wheat.

Convertible Groom's Cake

We've featured convertible cakes on the blog before, but today's Featured Friday cake was a lot of fun because it was so custom! The bride & groom inside the car were hand-sculpted, rolled chocolate likenesses of the bride & groom, and the front license plate was their last name!

Hexagon Tiers

If you are looking for a unique wedding cake without going over the top, a hexagon shaped cake is a nice way to go. As you can see from today's Weddings Wednesday featured cake, the hexagon gives the cake just enough visual interest, and is different enough from the popular round and square cakes, without going too far away from the traditional look of a wedding cake.

This particular hexagon cake is covered in rolled chocolate, with hand piped wedding design work along the bottom inch of each tier and unraveling rolled chocolate ribbons.

Flared Tiers

Zoe's Bat Mitzvah cake is showcased today for Featured Friday! Complete with flared tiers, pink and orange buttercream frosting, rolled chocolate stripes and dots, shooting stars and a custom "Z" topper, this cake is certainly a show stopper!

Ferns

Top o' the mornin to ya! In honor of St. Patrick's Day, we chose a cake today with lots of green on it!

Our wedding cakes aren't always white, covered in flowers, and feminine. Often, a wedding cake will fit a theme or even a location. Today's Weddings Wednesday cake would be perfect for an outdoor wedding ceremony underneath a giant oak tree!

The buttercream ferns were hand piped, and each rolled chocolate leaf and acorn was hand sculpted and placed to create this woodsy wedding cake.

We almost always have vanilla, chocolate and red velvet cupcakes for sale in our retail store.

YUM! Don't those red velvet cupcakes look DELICIOUS?! In the store, they have a swirl of our buttercream and some sprinkles on top, but if you place your order in advance, you can have your cupcakes decorated almost any way you can imagine!

Individual Desserts

Not every couple we meet wants a traditional wedding cake or the trendy wedding cupcakes for their celebration. Since we create a wide variety of pastries and individual desserts here at Dessert Works, we are able to accommodate the couple that would like a variety of desserts for their guests to choose from instead of a wedding cake!

Each of the desserts were on their own gold board, allowing guests to easily take their own dessert from the beautiful display.
